Riding Shoni.....

Avery is starting to outgrow Shoni. Although she loves him, and loves riding him...she is becoming a better rider....doing higher jumps and cantering bigger jump courses. Shoni is 27 and he just can't keep up with her much longer. While it's exciting to see her grow and become a better rider, we'll miss ol' Shoni Pony but will never forget the lessons he taught us.

Wowza....it's been a long time....

Summer is over...the kids are back in school and it's time to catch up on my long neglected blog. We've had lots of fun over the summer...and even added a new family member...but in order for me to keep track of my crazy life, I better do things in order, starting with Avery's end of the year field trip to Sharkarosa....with her Dad!!

or in our case...playin' on the dock of the lake!! Either way, the kids had fun and got rid of some energy....we even got to watch some kayakers going by!!

To those we celebrated with.....and those we miss with all our hearts....Happy Father's Day!

We celebrated on Saturday night with a visit to a local Brazilian Steakhouse...our first time ever. Weston ran in, then ran back out and said "Mom...it's fancy inside" The kids loved it...as did the dads. They loved the "all the meat you can eat" as well as the amazing salad bar. Doug and Avery even tried the lamb....I wasn't quite that brave. We had a great time together...as we always do....celebrating two very special dads who are with us....and one who isn't.
