Although it's hard to see from the pictures, Avery choose a lime sweater, black tank and hot pink converse shoes for her first day. For my girl...it's all about color!!
Weston loved this shirt...and couldn't wait to wear it. He told me this summer "Mom, will you please let me pick out my clothes so I can look cool" So, there you go....Mr. Cool.
On the way to school we met our neighbor who's little cutie is starting kindergarten...I warned her...from here on out time will F-L-Y.
Weston told her...if anyone messes with you...come tell me!!
Avery's teacher loves animal print....I think her and I are going to get along just fine!!!
Avery quickly moved me along down the hall....no pictures and one quick smooch is all I got.
Now here's a boy who will smooch his mama....I love that!!
Each year, to celebrate the first day of school, I get the kids a special treat. Two years ago we had a pencil shaped brownie....last year it was a giant chocolate chip cookie cake with "Go Gaters" written on it....this year....Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake....here's to a great school year!!
