Avery wanted to decorate a cake after being inspired by Ace of Cakes (that's my girl!!) so we unearthed my decorating kit from back in the day when Ashley and I attended Course I and II of the Wilton Decorating Classes...and got busy. Sister had no idea I had this treasure box of goodies...she was thrilled. We baked a red velvet cake, covered it in vanilla icing and used almost every tip in my box to create the masterpiece below....
My cameras batteries were ka-put so these pics are from the I-phone....at the end of the evening we had one proud baker, one beautiful cake and one messy kitchen....the evening was a complete success I'd say!!
