Happy Birthday Sweet Love,
Today, you are 8 years old. Truly, it seems like yesterday I stood up in the living room of our old house and said "I think my water just broke" You were scheduled to arrive on the 15th by c-section...you came a day early. I was thrilled, in a home surrounded by blue, to welcome home a baby dressed in pink. You have had a sweet spirit since the day you were born...that sweet spirit remains strong today. You love your family, your friends and each and every animal you can find. You love horses, pink and brown, and Hannah Montana. You love to color and draw, board games and puzzles. You love to help with smaller children, especially babies. You want to keep each puppy or kitten we see. You love horses, and I'm so proud when I watch you ride...even when you're nervous you try so very hard.
Yesterday I held you on my lap, wearing sweet dresses with leggings and always, always matching bows. Today you have your own opinion, jeans and your "fabulous fillies" shirt....and no bows (sniff, sniff) I am so very proud of the girl you have grown to be...and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you, my sweet mini-me....just please, please slow down...I'd like to keep you 8 forever!!
