Our first official stop on our journey north was St. Louis!! We arrived mid-morning and headed to the arch. While waiting for our "pod" to arrive...Weston and Avery weighed themselves using an old-timey scale. Soon however, our number was called and we headed in....
Avery and Daddy in the pod....and up we go!!!
The view was breathtaking....we saw the capitol, the field where the Baseball All-Star Game was scheduled for later in the week....and even a blimp floated by.
We were 650 feet in the air....and could feel the arch sway when the wind blew!!
After coming down to earth, we spent some time in the museum, learning about early settlers and the exploration of the west.
As always, I enjoy taking some crazy-angled pictures...the arch was the perfect backdrop to practice on.
