We saw jerseys from past players, walked through the hall honoring each of the inductees, and learned alot about the history of the game. My favorite little know fact....the players used to wear leather straps that went around their heads, over the middle of their faces and were held in place by biting down on them with their teeth. These straps were designed to protect their noses from being broken. The would often take these straps off and use them to whip other players when they were being tackled....those were the days, baby!!

Weston practiced throwing the ball while Avery watched....I thought about my dad and how much he would have enjoyed visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame...he did love football!!

Avery bought a pink t-shirt, Weston bought a Jets cap and we said good-bye and headed north...next stop...the Family Reunion!!
