(4/20) A small community....

One thing I love about living in a fairly small community is that we get to "double dip" on the wonderful people we meet. Here's how it works :)
* Doug met an awesome guy named Jeff while playing poker. We'd been looking for a good karate school for Weston, and Jeff shared with Doug some information on the school where he teaches....it emphasizes not only the karate skills but also life skills....just what we were looking for...and Jeff is a double black belt which rates extra high on the "Cool" scale for kids
* Our neighbors invited us to church (the church we currently attend and LOVE) and who is teaching children's church....Ninja Jeff as he is know to all the kids
* At our Upward football games....Ninja Jeff volunteers as an official....and on this particular Saturday he spoke to the kids and parents during half-time.

We feel very blessed to have met Jeff and many other wonderful friends since we've moved here...he's a great role model and we love having him as a role model to Weston at this important time in his life.
