A few weeks ago I hosted a shower for my neighbor, N. She has a step-daughter, H, who is Avery's age and the girls often play together. Also included in the fun was another neighbor, also another N, who's daughter K and Avery are best of friends. The shower was fun and the food was yummy...here's a quick recap of the menu:

Lots of cookies...the shower colors were brown and pink so I had strawberry cookies dipped in chocolate, chocolate cookies with pink frosting...and double chocolate brownies

The shower was a fun way to meet new neighbors, let the girls have fun together and "help" with the set-up...and welcome baby Elle, who should be arriving any day now.
