After collecting all the eggs, the kids turned them in for a goodie bag full of candy. I thought this was a great idea to make sure everyone got something and no-one was hurt trying to get more than someone else. We have been to public Egg Hunts before where my children were knocked down by mothers picking up eggs for their kids...even one with a mom, newborn baby in one hand and trashbag in the other hand, competing against the kids in the "Under 18 months" section of the hunt (seriously lady...go to the store and buy a bag of candy) I personally don't want my kiddos to have that much candy...especially if I have to run over another child to get it. Anyway....the weather was perfect, the kids had fun and Grandma took Weston home with her for a week-end of spoiling...it doesn't get much better than that!!
