Picking out and carving our pumpkins is always a favorite fall activity. The kids check out each pumpkin....choose their absolute favorite (usually the biggest one they can find) then it's home and time to get busy.
Avery carefully drew her face first...plotting each move then cutting the shapes with a small pumpkin carving knife.
Weston....he just goes for it. He draws his first too...but then it's all stab and slice...he doesn't waste time on the details...I'm surprised no human was harmed in the carving of his pumpkin.
